Netball Waikato
KCE is the official sponsor of the Taumarunui, Otorohanga and Maniapoto Netball Centres. We help provide quality netball programmes that benefit over 1,400 players in our region.

Kiwi Can
Our primary sponsorship is supporting Kiwi Can in 14 primary schools throughout the King Country and Waitomo districts. Kiwi Can is a life skills and values programme for Year 1 to Year 8 students. It builds children’s self-esteem, teaches them to respect others and helps them meet life’s challenges and opportunities head-on.

Books in Homes
Our sponsorship of Books in Homes helps 500 children receive their own personal book each year.
The Waitomo, Turangi and Otorohanga Sports Awards
King Country Energy sponsors these three sports awards each year. Our sponsorship helps spur on the region’s aspiring and experienced sporting heroes.
The Kururau Krusher
King Country Energy sponsors Taumarunui’s leading sporting event, the Kururau Krusher, which brings some of the country’s leading extreme sportspeople to the town. This is a multi-sport event that includes cycling, running, kayaking and mountain biking.
In addition to the above major sponsorships, KCE sponsors many other smaller initiatives right throughout the region.
