KCE’s Heartland Community Fund is how we support community groups and organisations with projects and initiatives that create safer, healthier, sustainable and connected King Country communities.
Over the years KCE has supported thousands of causes – and we will continue to do so through the Heartland fund.
To apply for funding for your next community project, you’ll need to complete our official Heartland Community Fund application form in any one of our three funding rounds every year.
Who can apply?
Charitable, community, education and not-for-profit groups and organisations carrying out causes, initiatives or projects that make our communities safer, healthier, sustainable and connected.
See our Heartland FAQs for more information about funding criteria. We will consider events, projects, initiatives, and organisations and groups that:
- Create a healthy community
- Care for the environment
- Bring the community together
- Keep the community safe
There are three funding periods a year:
- 1March: opens 1 March closes 31 March
- 2July: opens 1 July closes 31 July
- 3November: opens 1 November, closes 30 November
Applications for each round must be made using the official application form, and be received by the last day of that month:
