Update

King Country Energy is committed to the safety of our employees and contractors during these uncertain times. Therefore, in line with Ministry of Health guidance we have implemented remote working across our business.

Effective from Monday 23rd March our physical office will be closed to the public, except by prior arrangement. Rest assured this will not impact our ability to continue to operate.

All our power stations will be closed to the public and as these are essential services it is particularly important the station operators are kept as safe as possible.

If you are unsure about arrangements for an upcoming meeting, or have any concerns or questions about your interactions with KCE, please contact us for guidance on 027 225 8443 or email kceadmin@kce.co.nz

Our Mission

To be a valued generator of electricity

KCE is a hydropower electricity generator, with five power stations in the King Country and Horowhenua districts.

Our Values

We embrace these values every day and they're reflected in the way that we engage and do business.

Our Company

Our head office is based in Taumarunui, and our power stations are in Mangahao, Kuratau, Wairere, Mokoauiti, and Piriaka.

KCE power stations are located in some wonderful areas of the country and can be great places to visit - many parts of our schemes are available to the public, but there are restricted areas. Please obey all health and safety signage.

Stay up to date with the latest news and updates on our Facebook page.

We regularly share news and updates from our community and region, and interesting facts about our region and the history of our power stations.

Have you ever been a KCE shareholder?

We’re on the hunt for ex-shareholders who have changed their postal address or didn’t accept the share buyback offer in 2018. Could that be you?
